Our Team

  • Max Aung, PhD, MPH

Max is an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine. He is also a Harvard University JPB Environmental Health Fellow. His research utilizes biostatistics and data science frameworks to investigate the biological pathways affected by exposure to chLinkedInemical mixtures in the environment. Max is committed to applying his research towards reducing environmental health disparities and pursuing environmental justice. Max earned his PhD in Environmental Health Sciences from the University of Michigan School of Public Health, where he also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in biostatistics and data science. Max is a former Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Research Scholar Fellow. He currently co-directs the USC EH MATTERS Program and is an Assistant Director of the Agents of Change in Environmental Justice Program.
